Yes, you need a CO meter. In France, it is also hard to find but to succeed, you need to find a small enterprise :)
Yes but I am not sure that the exhaust system is without leaks.

Could there be another cause? I want first to resolve every possible problem and then go to a CO meter.

And does anyone know what is the correct CO value? I found somewhere 1.5% +- 0.5

You should ask to "attila97", he also owns a 309 GT

I think there is also a problem with "false air", from the servo-brake, I think it looses vacuum, I will check tomorrow.

I've the same value for the CO. 1,5% +-0,5.
On my GT, the value is 1% after a correct setting of the engine.
And I've also a problem with the servo-brake, as you!

I have an idea: How about I install an O2 sensor, and a digital volt meter in the car like this one http://goo.gl/yQ1RP" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; The whole system would set me back 35 euro, and I could tune the carburetor anywhere anytime. What do you think?

clutch problem

Yesterday I noticed a weird sound coming from the clutch. I opened the hood and found that the clutch fork was oscillating, proportional to engine speed. This oscillation, along with the sound (a hising sound together with clunching) lasts for 30 seconds then I hear a louder clank and everything returns to normal.

Then if I press the pedal I hear another small clank, and when I release it the sound and vibrations reappear again for 30 seconds.

This happens whether I drive or at idle. When the peddle is pressed, even slightly everything is normal. When I put my foot under the peddle and raise it a bit the sound disappears, but the oscillation of the fork remains.

There are no other symptoms. Gears are changed smoothly, no vibrations when I drive off.

The clutch was replaced (apart from the flywheel, but that was ok) last summer. It is a LUK. It has less then 10 000 km.

ok, now it sometimes squeaks when I fully press the peddle. How can this be on a new clutch and bearing?

Could you make a video to capture sound at least?

It seems that the pressure plate is the cause of the sound.

I put some wd-40 inside the clutch, trying to get it on the bearing. The sound went away, and the vibrations last much less, a couple of seconds only.

I bought this camera http://goo.gl/dG1un" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

It fits inside the clutch so I can see exactly what's wrong :) . Plus I can get the WD-40 exactly where it needs to go.

BTW: My spark plugs are finally reddish :) fuel economy is almost 11 in the city. Hope it stays this way.

Nice camera. What is a "pressure plate"? Could you put a picture to show what it is?

Ah ok! But it has been changed with the whole clutch, isn't it?
