What the @#?! are they saying in this topic???
Hello all,
As you have noticed, there are lots of froggies on this forum and most of the forum is full of French posts. Since we know the language barrier is a very stupid barrier, we want to offer our help.
So if you feel a topic may be interesting and you don't understand a single word of what we're saying, just post here a request and we'll sum up the topic for you so you'll be able to take part in it.

Re: What the @#?! are they saying in this topic???
I always wanted to put a dome light delay in my 309. So that when I unlock the doors the light would turn on for 15-30sec and turn off when I put the ignition. I saw that there is a topic about this in the french forum.
I tries with google translate put the instructions were not clear....

Okay I'm here,
Aurélien n'hésite pas à éditer pour que ça ressemble à quelque chose en anglais.
My car has central locking and a rear courtesy light so it's harder but nicer. First you have to find a blue or black box in a 405/BX/605/XM/406 ; the only difference is that the black box turns the lights off instantly and the blue one turns them gradually.
The box has to be connected to the orange connector (courtesy light) and the yellow one if you have central locking.
They are at the top left of the door panel: not easy to access
Before pluging in the blue box you have to modify the wiring loom like in this picture:
Then if you have a rear courtesy light you must connect the wire 1 of the front courtesy light to the wire 1 of the rear courtesy light:
Now you can plug the little box in using my poor picture:
Colors are not important, just look at the numbers, and the female orange connector is on top.
