i got it §!!!!!!!!!!!!! :mrgreen:

If you disconnect this hose, your automatic chocke is getting air in the water circuit : which means, lower temperature => automatic chocke is on !

Completely normal, you don't have a problem man !

at all !

you're just wasting water and getting air bubbles in your engine !!! NOT GOOD ! X|

Just bleed your water circuit very well and everything will be fine.. :super:

Once, i made more then 1000km with the electric wire disconnected..the weather was fine, i didnt see any difference ! :hello:
Just dont play with the water circuit..the automatic choke is very sensible with that !

Thank you very much! I think I understand now its purpose, so it is some kind of pressure adjuster within the carb ok.

It seems you know a lot about this carb :) could you also tell me what number 7 4 and 5 are in this picture?
Number 6 is this solenoid valve we talked about and 11 the anti-flood valve?

I found a great book on these carbs
http://www.scribd.com/doc/46823952/solex-z1" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Does anyone know what it's called or where can I find the rest?

yes, I think I found it

The solex Z1 is mine right? Because I am thinking of buying it from ebay, what do you think?

Or the older one is better from 1997?
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Automotive-Carb ... 1859602886" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

the first has 400 pages and the second 480

Hello
Sorry but I couldn't answer earlier to your questions.
Your carb is the 34 34 z1: automatic choke for 1.6 and 1.9.
But watch out,its not the same reference.the 1.9 has the same look but inside,complete other story.I will give u the difference when I'll be on my pc.

Check my topic,I switched my auto choke to a manual one.I gained at least 1L/100km..

russian? both are in english

I just want to know which to buy. The new one:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... K:MEWAX:IT" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
or the old one:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Automotive-Carb ... 1859602886" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I don't want to change it to a manual, I will try to fix this one after my exams. Its problem is with the anti-flood valve (or membrane) and some settings within the choke, it should work fine afterwards. If I can't do it I will buy another carb from thefunkyboy :)

Anyways I will need a book, and these seem the best.
