Hello,

I own a Peugeot 309 GL Petrol In India. 1996 model. i have an issue when starting the car.
n When Engine is cranked (key is switched on), self motor is running but ignition coil doesnt get current,

please let me know how to solve this?.

Also please send us the wiring diagram (for Peugeot 309 GL) in English. Atleast for ignition coil diagram ok.

Could you detail which engine is installed on your car please?

Your car is a 1996 model?

In 1996 the 309 was discontinued in Europe, as carbureted engines ; so whe need to now as much as possible about your engine tu help you.
Is your distributor one of these two?

Here is a wiring diagram in english but maybe the colours or even the wires don't match with your special 309:
