Hallo Thomas,

It is a very disappointed situation for us because 2 years ago you managed to come to France and when it is our turn, wd failed...

I havd some personal reasons that explain why I can't come to this meeting ( I have my house built at the same time and I really need to take care of the job's'quality at each step).
As I'm working in a german firm, I may come sometimes in Germany, in bavarian state (Regensburg). Are you all of them far from that place?

A very nice sentence in french is "Ce n'est que partie remise". That means, this time it has failed but it is just a question of time to manage it next time.
