In Holland we have a few clubs where you can meet some other people with fast Peugeot's. At the moment I'm not a member off a club. But the last week's there are more people who restoring 309, instead of dismanteling them for the MI16 engine.

In France, they are more and more seldom too. Because of bad manutention, car robbing, car put in parts for business only ... or simply because of someone who buys it for "fun", doesn't change the car's papers and sell it like that after some weeks.

nice miami 309 you own. I love the miami colour and much more I love the blue/ black interieur. I had a GTi16 in miami for seven years and could still bite my ass for selling it two years ago.

In Holland there aren't so many left.

Same here in germany, if one single GTi16 appears over the year for sale it´s a lot! Some say there were only 3 GTi16s sold in poland, 12 in Denmark and 34 in sweden!? Here in germany there were not even a hundret GTi16 sold.
I hope the GTi16s which survived all over europe will be kept retained and will receive some appreciation.

The 309 are getting no a days more appreciation, especially the GTI's. It was then the best GTI to buy, and the car drives well, also for now a days standards. I own this car now for about 13 years and it almost never disappoints.

The good thing is, they get more expensive with the years, so they arent that interessting for 205 GTi riders looking for an Mi-engine.
13 years is a long time, I think I´ve seen your 309 sometimes on the net over the years. It´s a very nice one. Love the colour in- and outside.

Thanks. That is possible, I have a review from my car on a web magazine called autoweek. And when Peugeot launched the 308GTI, they ask if my 309GTI16 could make a introduction for this video.

Indeed the prices for a good 309GTI is rising.

I have repainted some parts such as the support of the air filter and the relay box holder. So under the bonnet it lookes a bit nicer.
