Alloys

We wondered what name we could give to this forum and then we stopped thinking.

Alloys

Message par missa91 » 25 avr. 2011, 12:26

I have an urgent question. I have an offer to buy the alloys from 205 GTi, like those in the picture. Is it a reasonable price that I give him my steel rims with bad tires and 30eur for these alloys and medium tires? Can these even fit my 309 without any problems, I think they can, but I wanted a second opinion.

Thanks very much!

You can install them on your car but you will have to buy the wheel bolts which are specific (not conic)

Moreover, be careful: you will need to buy 175/60/14 tires ;)

The price is good i think. In France, you can find some for 60€ in bad state.

I drive on 175/70/13, so I don't think the width is an issue, and my tires are really bad now, so new ones have to be bought, no question about it.

You don't need to respect the Peugeot's requirements in Serbia?

They only watch the thread depth. From the groove that indicates wear you need to have 1.6mm for summer and 4mm for winter tires. And Peugeot has specified that 175/70/13 is allowed for the 309, it says so in AutoData.

By the way, the ones I looked at were not so good, but I got these instead. I am very pleased. Relatively good condition rims, tires with 3mm thread and longer wheel bolts. All 50eur.
