Hello there,
can anybody of you tell me something about heated seats in a 309? Is there something original to get from peugeot? Or is there anything else to get my "winter-GTi" warming up my a**?

Re: Seat heating?
Hi there Matthias,
The original system is quite old, and I strongly advise you to look for a DIY solution, which would be much better. I've had lots of problems with my original system and the parts are very expensive, if you can find them... The best would be to buy a kit on eBay and fit it yourself. Plus in the 309, there's only a place for one button, so it means if the driver wants to switch the heating seat on, and the passenger doesn't want it, you'll have to make a choice, because one switch = two seats. And that's quite annoying, plus it consumes more power if you're alone in the car since it'll heat both front seats.
Personally, I think I'll remove the original system from my car and fit a standard kit instead.

Re: Seat heating?
On the 206 too?? I thought on newer cars, it was different, and I know for sure that the 306 doesn't have this stupid system.
Anyway, I chose not to repair the heating seats on my 309, but to take care of it later with a universal system. The only bad thing is the switch. I don't like the idea to make holes in plastics, because when it's done it's done. But the damn dashboard can't handle two switches... So maybe I'll just repair the driver's side (I don't care about the passenger's side, I never seat on it ).
I think I'll get something like that: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/WAECO-HEATED- ... 211wt_1192" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Re: Seat heating?
You can put switches on the roof console, originals switches from a MK1 309 are probably difficult to find:
03 --------- 6552 85 - HEATED SEAT UP TO MOD 1990
But power windows switches can be used with a timed relay.

NOUVELLE 309: TOUJOURS PARTANTE!
