Well, last year was final year before university, so we went on a different road trip every day, spent a good fortune on gas, had so much fun that I will never regret it. :):):) And there was also a lot of business travel involved, because besides training for an air traffic controller and being in high school i work with computers and networks. Software and hardware, so I was always on the move, and my 309 always by my side. But the LPG tank now has a lot of disadvantage in reducing the boot space... :(

Yes, there are tanks of reinforced steal, but with the 309 so soft, when you sit 5 people in it and load the boot I am afraid with the roads here the tank will get caught somewhere. Plus, I have to put the spare wheel somewhere? It's mandatory by law here. And I didn't want a small tank, and the one that goes under the car is like 33 liters, and mine is 55. And as you have seen, pretty big.

Some time ago I thought about converting the car to LPG but the tank would be too large. When I travel, I need the big boot space so I understand your concern.

And because it's my car I go to university every week with it and I bring stuff, to live out the week. So if I take someone along it's a big hassle. Three students and their stuff is the maximum I can carry. But when we divide the fuel to us 3 it is like 2eur per person, and by bus it's like 7,5, so we always drive. And thats how i get my crazy mileage.

If I understood correctly, you Aurelien are a teacher? what do you teach?

Wow, bus is very expensive! In my region the bus costs something like 1,5€ and 1€ if you've got the bus card. But the downside is that you've got to wait for the bus for a very long time sometimes. Once I wanted to take the bus and it didn't come at all so I had to go back home walking...

Well, yes, I'm a teacher. I teach linguistics.

I was actually talking about the drive with the car to Uni is costing us 6 or 7 eur and if we were to go by bus, we would pay the same amount, only everyone for himself. Our Uni is around 100km away, so we live where the uni is and on weekends we come home, see our parents, girlfriends, dogs, ect...

My uni is in the capital, so there local bus lines are cheap, like 0.5 eur inside the city, 0.7 for a distance up to 50km outside. We don't wait long, the most I have ever waited was 15min. But I prefer my car, yes I need to give up something to afford it, but I do it gladly, because I can be faster and more efficient that way. No waiting, no crowds. And driving is something I love very much!

In my hometown I see a 309 almost every day. I know personally like 30 people in my town who own a 309. What was astonishing was that I saw quite a number of 309s as taxis in the capital. I think the 309 is too expensive as a taxi car compared to a stilo or a astra.
