Hello All - England

Hi guys

Thought I say a quick hello.

I've owned many Peugeots over the last 10 years. I was really into my 205 GTI and CTi's. I've also had a few V6 406 coupes. Plus a 205 RG and STDT.

I then discovered the 309 GTI!!!

I still have two 205's but about 7 months back I purchased a black 309 GTI.
It was originally going to be used as my daily run about. But the car was so much fun and turned out to be so reliable that it's now one on my favourite pugs and used for track days and shows.

I’m fitting a 1.9 TT engine in the next few months and will be running an emerald ECU with three stage boost. Plus fitting the Morrette quad lights.

I'll post some pics.

Can’t wait for the big meet next year.

Lewis

Hello and welcome in here!
Do not hesitate to create a dedicated topic on your Black Knight when you have some pics.
Hope there'll be plenty of Brits at the meeting.

Hi Johan.

Soz for the late reply. Now been at work due to the snow :(

Yeah when I got the nine the suspension was on its last legs so replaced that.

I’ve also replaced the suspension top mounts.
Added a new exhaust form the cat back.
Gave it a full service, oil, water, plugs, leads, distributor....... the whole hog.
New track rod arms.
New drivers side front door.
Fixed the central locking as the back two doors would not open.
Replaced the driver’s side front bumper bracket, so the front bumper now sits strait.
Re-wired the fog and full beam lights in the front bumper so they now work.

Just replaced the ignition temperature sensor as it was cutting out when hot.

Going to start the turbo conversion soon.

I just saw the pic of your 309GTI16. That is one nice motor. You should never sell it!

Cheers

Lewis
