How much oil should I put on an oil change. I always put 4l, but now I see that in the book it says 4.5l and in heynes 5l.

It is between 4.5 and 5L. I use to start the engine after changing oil. It permits to fill in the oil filter. Then, you can adjust the oil volume.

I think it 4.5litres .... anyway it is not higher than the edge !

if you put all the time 4 liters, maybe you do not drain enough?

I'have a XU92C engine, and in the book it says that you put 4,5L whithout changing the filter, and 5L if you change it.

A good way to drain more is to drain when the engine is totally cold, so the oil will be down. Then, you should be able to drain almost 5 liters with the filter.
