I have to think about it and discuss with a friend of mine before. I want to lend it to her to try.

The reason? I have got too many cars

You have to know I can't register it anyhow, it would end here in parts. A'm however very interested in the interior and the boot. The overall state of the car. If you want you can PM me.

No, no, Here in Serbia only a Euro3 car can be registered for driving when you import. And I don't want to do the hole thing cutting up vins and then putting them to another car, I don't feel comfortable. If the price is ok we can talk deal, but you have to know that I could never drive the car as is.

Ah ok! It is the same as in some countries as Brazil, Lebanon, etc...

In that case, it may be easier to find one in worse state than mine and nearer from the France border.

Try to search on http://www.leboncoin.fr" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Mine, in good state, I guess it is between 800 and 1000€. In france, you can find some for less than 500€, good engine but the other things in bad state.

I have one here for 160, but it was in the forest for like 5 years... its a 1.6 and i don't think all that many parts are good because it stood for so long.

Tell me another thing... How much would it be if you were to send me two brake caliper restoration kits?

The only thing I need are the little rubbers on the sliders and the big one for the cylinder. And brake calipers aren't the thing I buy second hand. Anything that has to do with brakes is a no-no second hand.

Maybe I will need the sliders too, but i don't think so. A caliper is new about 110eur, thats for one. The one I need is Girling.

No, just to restore them. Mine are locking and new brake pads last me no more than 7000km. And it's only the outer pad that is wearing. When I called the dealer to get some new dust seals for the sliders and the cylinder on the caliper they told me that such sets aren't made for the 309. I think that is junk and am sure in France that such a set exists, maybe altogether with the sliders. Let me get a picture and show it on that.

Thing I have heard is that is not possible for classical calipers. But it is possible for a GTi caliper.

Here are two sets I found in TecDoc. One has no sliders and the other one does. But, the set which has the sliders is for the Bendix type and my car has the Girling Type.

PS: Because someone disabled PDF upload as an attachment I had to massacre this image. Sorry.
