It is a good mix between a french GR mk1 and a GTi. For us, it looks like a sleeper... I love!

Yeah, it's a very nice model. I am a real fan of the standard models. They're usually very cheap, you can easily get one in good condition, and I really like the old school driving: on some models the engine is very loud, you hear strange noises, the seats are terrible, and the brakes are... useless. But I really like that feeling!!! It doesn't compare to driving a GTI, which doesn't look that old after all. In short, get this GRI!!!

I hope to get the GRi next year. Only problem is to have a parking place.

Can anybody of you tell me what people in france want to get for a GTi16 interieur in good condition? I search for a clean and complete set of black/blue interieur.

Are you the one with a "ming-blue" GTi? I love the ming blue colour on the 309? And do you have some GTi16 seats in a white MK1?

Yes, I have put some GTi 16 seats on my 309 GR mk1 . That's not genuine but very confortable.

Yes, I'm the Ming blue owner of two 309 with that colour. (I am selling one if you are interested but the engine has to be changed)

The interior is in good condition (for 20 years old), one small rusty point at the backend of the car, behind the rear bumper.

If you´re talking about my grey GTi, with the damaged front, I would have repaired it a long time ago. But I can´t get a GTi front bumper. So I have to live with that at the moment :-(
And yes, it has ABS on board. I haven´t seen that before I got the car four years ago. The GTi16 could never been ordered with ABS!

The grey one with full leather and gutmann-rims? It´s mine, found it a few month ago in swiss. I´m very happy zhat I found a good one like this. Is in very good shape, just like my miami was. Only thing is I like the blue/black interieur more than the leather seats.

Peugeot still sell them, and it costs around €370 new. Maybe with our club we can get a better price. With our club, I'm currently trying to find every coolant hose in the engine bay for a member who owns a GTI16 (only original hoses because silicone ones are shit). Quite difficult, but not impossible. Anyway, a bumper is pretty easy to find here.
