You can't change only one piston rings kit, you must change for all of your pistons. It is very expensive

Re: Restoring the power of a 1986 110bhp XU92C engine
In Serbia it costs about 10-12eur per cylinder, the piston rings that is. The head gasket is about 30eur. The machining of the cylinder head is about 15eur. Other gaskets come to something like 40eur (with valve seals). And the work should be at about 70eur. because being a mechanic here in Serbia is a bit under appreciated.

True for a MK2, in a MK1 the XU92C is not the samethefunkyboy a écrit :just change the cylinder head. It is the same one XU52C, XU92C and GTI (excepted the cam shaft)

But now I have to do something with the oil overheating, because almost always it reaches the second line after 90.
Are you guys sure it is only the ignition timing?

Unfortunately I can't find a mechanic with a timing light lol, but I found a timing light on the net, but it's 37eur... not sure if it's worth it.
