carburretor benzin leak
I am having a big problem with my solex 34/34 Z1 carb... Benzin is literally dripping from one screw (pictures below).
The smell of benzin around the car is huge.
I will let the pictures tell the story...
Here are the 3 screws in red. You can see the benzin dripping out. This is with the engine running at idle. The blue circle is the accelerator pump. This is from the battery's side
This is from the front, the same screw. Idle also
Close up at idle.
This is the side from the alternator. Idle. You can see that benzin is also on the thing that it is connected to the first accelerator valve.
This is with the engine off for a couple of minutes, and intentionally flooded by me.
Here is the back. You can see the first accelerator valve's things, filled with benzin....
I think I am having a problem with this selenoid, in red. Also with the gasket in blue, even though that is 1 year old only...
Please any advice would be helpful, I think it is a dangerous problem, and the mechanics here don't repair carbs any more, and the few how do aren't really that good...

It would make no difference, the problem isn't just theresedio309 a écrit :this Solex carburetor curve on which rests against the manifold and suck air. maybe you can "brush" basis, but be careful because there are tubes that pass by ...
Anyway, I already found a replacement. The carb is identical but it comes from a 1.6. My question is what parts are different from a 1.6 and a 1.9, apart from the jiglores?

Re: carburretor benzin leak
Razvan, the carburator comes from a 1,9 but has been adapted to 1,6. Normally, there is all the needed parts to go back to the genuine configuration
